Four Corners is an unincorporated community located along the borders of Lake, Polk, Osceola, and Orange counties. Technically it’s a part of two statistical areas: the Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford, Florida Metropolitan area and the Lakeland-Winter Haven Metropolitan Statistical area. Four Corners has the interesting designation of being the only Floridian community located in four different counties!

Four Corners: Reasons for Its Popularity

But geographical technicalities aren’t what makes Four Corners so appealing. Four Corners sets itself apart from other Florida suburbs in several ways. It’s located nearby to some of central Florida’s top travel destinations, so much so that Airbnb data rates it as one of the most desirable summer vacation spots in the United States — yet it still manages to maintain that friendly, small-town feel.

The population in Four Corners has more than doubled in the last 10 years, going from 26,000 at the 2010 census to over 55,000 at the 2020 census!

What else makes Four Corners so popular? Maybe the fact that it features an almost endless selection of top-rated hotels, rentals, and resorts. Or maybe the fact that it’s so close to Lake Dixie, Lake Louisa, and Hammond Lake. Or maybe its status as a jet skiing mecca! And then there’s the citrus scene. Four corners is so impressive in terms of citrus fruit production that it’s sometimes called “Citrus Ridge.”

If you’re still looking for more adventure, you’ll be glad to know that both Universal Studios and Walt Disney World are only a quick drive away.
